Saturday 19th November - Awards Dinner
A great evening was had by all!
Especial thanks go to Donna & Daniel for laying on a superb spread and arranging table service (valuable in particular to Peter who would need fresh legs after the dinner) and to Alison for stocking and running the bar.
The clubhouse looked great and well laid out which must have taken much effort too.
After the dinner and a couple of toasts the main business was conducted smoothly by Esteban who was ably assisted by Ron. Thanks also to Anthea and Leanne for their efforts behind the scenes to have the trophies ready and looking so good.
As hinted at above Peter Withrington was to make many journeys from his seat (thoughfully placed in reasonable proximity) to the awards table and on this occasion only was craftily outflanked by Ron who had no distance to travel to accept his trophies!
